In total, the Barco E2 Presentation Switcher offers 28 inputs and 14 outputs (including 8 x PGM, 2 x multi-viewer and 4 x scaled AUX outputs). This means extensive control options are definitely on offer, including 8 independent PIP mixers and a dedicated multi-viewer. Data sheet
The Barco E2 system, which is already completely convincing and probably more than sufficient in itself, is even quite expandable: Due to the many connection options directly on the Barco E2 housing, no external processing or cables are required to distribute the signals. The inputs and layers can also be expanded accordingly, meaning that the Barco E2 can even be able to manage a mix of up to 32 x 4K projectors in the future.

Intuitive control of the Barco E2
A cross-platform, easy-to-use touchscreen interface makes working with the Barco E2 Screen Management System a real pleasure. Presets are stored in the device, making it easy to control third-party devices as well. Several users can also control the E2 at the same time and the API allows independent programmers to create programs and interfaces.
The modular design of the Barco E2 makes it easy for users to add new input and output cards to support future interfaces. This results in another positive side effect of this modular design: the Barco E2 is extremely easy to maintain.
With the combination E2 & EC-50 rent a flexible level management system
Barco's E2 system offers a truly extremely flexible system for managing levels. First, the E2 starts with an unscaled, pixel-perfect background layer at full resolution (same resolution as the screen target). Due to the fact that up to 32 layers are available in HD, the Barco E2 adapts the configuration of layers to your requirements. Create PIP or key effects in HD, Dual Link or 4K resolution. You always keep track of how many resources are available because goals always have dedicated levels. Likewise, targets can support the combination of individual layers, mixers, PIPs, keys and layers of different sizes that combine into a single image when output.
